Withdrawal ....

Rebecca - this one is for you! And winner from the ScrapFIT Blog Hop is at the bottom of the post!
School starts tomorrow for my oldest - I have to admit I am happy! Not sad, not nervous for her (okay I am a little bit - don't tell her!), and certainly not wishing that we had more summer. Although we have done lots of fun things this summer! Just this month we went to movies in the park and watched Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and a yummy picnic dinner. Look at Amory entertaining the crowd before the show - this was an Amory version of a song which lyrics included parts of Twinkle Little Star and Itsy Bitsy Spider - highly entertaining!
For my birthday we went to Lake Jackson and ate lunch on the beach at a new restaurant. Quite yummy although a bit unorganized. Afterwards we walked on the beach a bit, road the blue ocean highway to Galveston (love seeing the beach houses), and rode the ferry to Crystal Beach and back. It was a very good birthday! Look at my two (getting along!!) splashing in the water. I love pictures from this angle!
A few layouts that I have done - I have not done many because it is too busy in the summer for me to scrap - and when we are not busy I must play referee so I have done the bare minimum to keep my scrapping withdrawal from eating me up! I have been playing along with MSW ABC Crop. Although there has been a challenge for every letter of the alphabet I have done them quite out of order and very randomly! There is still time to play along for the big prizes at the end - come join us!
So for the letter P the challenge was a Pins and Needles one - use sewing on your page. I love to sew on my pages - it adds another texture and element to the page where it would have been flat before. I loved these pictures of Amory cooling it in the pool and wanted them to really take focus so I left alot of "white" space to do that.
2 Cool for the Pool
Another layout I finished was for the letter J- a Jimminy Cricket challenge - use a bug on your LO. I hope a butterfly counts as the caterpillar I wanted to put on here just didn't work! See I love taking pictures from this angle! This is Amory and one of her best little friends Jordan.
BFF
I have one more thing I must share! Anita Renfroe is a favorite thing in my list of favorite things. She is simply a hoot. I wanted to share a music video with you that she did - her own version of Taylor Swift's Love Story song. Make sure you go to the bottom of my blog and pause my blog music so you can hear this video! And make sure to click on media on her website and watch the rest of her videos if you need a good laugh!

Okay you made it through the longest post in forever so you must want to know who the winner winner chicken dinner is from the ScrapFit blog hop is! Drumroll please ... Jean is the winner! Please pm me on the ScrapFIT forum (link on right side of ScrapFIT blog).

Thank you for stopping by and have a blessed day!
