New Today - A Color Combo and a Kit!

SPCC #25 is posted and it is awesome! With this color combo you can create a Christmas project, a layout about outdoor activities (hiking, fishing, camping come to mind) or a zoo trip like I did! And an awesome prize to win too from Memories Forever Scrapbooking!

Here is my layout! All of the color combos are in the stripe and leaf patterned paper making this layout an easy one to pull together! And as an added wow moment I am actually in the pictures in the scrapbook!

Zoo Fun

I have received my November kit from Life Preservers where I am guest designer this month. And the paper from the SEI Moravia line is beautiful. So beautiful in fact it was hard to cut into - all of the flocking, foil and textures lends itself to just gazing and touching not cutting! But cut and create I did - using the papers for my parents European vacation that I am creating a scrapbook of for them. The first layout I did I used the sketch from 52 Weeks 52 Sketches - turning it on its side.

King and Queen of the Castle

The next layout I did I conquered two challenges - the sketch from Sketchy Thursdays and a challenge from Practical Scrappers to stitch on your page.

Fountain of Youth
With the scraps from these layouts I made a thank you card for my Mama Lois. She sent us our Christmas money a little early and all three of us girls went and got our ears pierced! Yes I am 32 and just now pierced my ears! I've gotten a tatoo so I figured I could do the ear piercing but just to be safe I let Amory and Priscilla go first. Mother of the year award goes to...
This card also is for the challenge at the Apron Strings blog to make a thankful project. Here is my card!
And last but not least a baby shower invite I created for my friend Sarah. I am tickled pink as to how this turned out - it was exactly what I imagined when I created this in my head! And Sarah was tickled pink when she saw it so I feel like mission accomplished!

Thank you for stopping by today! Have a blessed day!
