Lots to Share!

We are having our first bit of fall here on the gulf coast of Texas - it is in the 70's. Please stop laughing anyone north of here - 70 degree weather is long sleeves, pants and real shoes not flip flops! To celebrate this bit of fall we made our annual trip to the punkin patch with my clan in tow. We got some great pictures, Brian (Uncle Bubba) played punkin sherpa (spelling could be wrong on that), and I got a green (grey) punkin. A few pictures that I have to share:
Does it get any cuter?
She looks so grown up!

Uncle Bubba and the girls.

Last but not least - the family. Aren't we pretty and oh so color coordinated for the scrapbook!?!?!

For my next bit of news I completed Sketchy Thursdays November Guest Design Team Challenge. The challenge was:
Your GDT prompt is Fantasy Trick or Treat - Show me what would be dropped into your trick-or-treat bag if it could be anything your little heart desires. (And, no, you don't have to be able to carry the bag, LOL!) BUT there was a twist! TRICK - you must use something unexpected on your layout, something that isn't normally used in scrapbooks. AND TREAT - I want to see BOTH paint and bling on your layout. And the sketch I used was from September 3, 2009.
I knew instantly what I wanted in my bag - God's blessings. But my struggle was how to display that on a scrappy page. I took a picture of my Bible and included the scripture from 2nd Corinthians 9:8. The Scripture reads - God can bless you in everything you need, and you will always have more than enough to do all kinds of good things for others.
For my paint I dusted off some large foam stamps and stamped the 9:8, for the bling I used gems for the flower centers as well as dipped each petal in glitter, my not normally used in scrapbook item was a broken "pearl" necklace from my daughter's dress up box.
I also completed a card for Caardvarks (use ribbon in a fun way) using SPCC color combo #19 - green galore, close to cocoa, taken with teal, and almost amethyst and a sketch from My Sketch World.
Julie of 52 Sketches 52 Weeks is now creating sketches for kit clubs and blogs. Even more of 52 Sketches - yeah! I created this next layout for Magpie Club - a fun blog offering kits and a kit called the credit crunch kit - perfect for those of us in this economy that has not been so kind to. My layout is a picture of the girls and their great grandmother - my grandmother Mama Lois. She lives in North Carolina and only comes down to visit once a year so we get as much out of the visit as we can!

One last bit of exciting news - guest designer news - that is. I am honored to be guest designer at My Sketch World for the month of October. Check out the announcement post here. This is the layout I did for the October 15th sketch. And next month I will be guest designer for Life Preservers Kit Club (you have to check these kits out - they are so awesome!). See the announcement here . Here is the layout I did for the board to vote on:
Thank you for stopping by and visiting the longest post in history. Maybe if I did this more often maybe there wouldn't be so much to share at one time. HMMMM....

Have a blessed day!
