I have been scrapping like a woman possessed! I have been using the Pink Paislee Fetching line that I won at Craftastic - thank you so much again Kristin. I have completed a few challenges, made my own embellishments, used some vintage finds, have ink stains all over me my clothes etc., and the mojo is still coming. Victor is going to find face down in an inkpad and a pile of paper in the morning - I have a feeling!
First off I would like to show you the layout I completed for the aforementioned (is that a word? if not I'm sorry I should stick to little words!) Craftastic blog. It is picture of Victor and the girls launching driftwood and feather boats into the lake. Along with the sketch we had a "shopping list" to pick from and I chose the color teal, ink (I mean really that shows up on everything!), and 2 + photos.
put a feather in itThe next layout I would like to show you uses SPCC #18 - Soft Suede, Not Quite Navy and Dusty Durango. This layout is a new favorite layout of mine because - 1. three generations - my mom, me, and Priscilla, the story behind it makes me giggle, and the papers and embellies on it makes me happy too! These are pictures of us when we were waiting in line for the Disney Christmas Carol Train Tour - 100+ degrees and 2 and a half hours does not make a happy bunch of ladies. But I don't care if you are hot, bored, or sweaty - smile because these are going in the scrapbook!
what happens in the line... ends up in the scrapbook!
Last but not least Sketch #1 for October at My Sketch World where I am guest designer this month. They have a terrific card crop going on all month with challenges, tutorials, and prizes. This however is a layout sketch - they are posted on the first and the fifteenth of the month. Come check it out on the fifteenth when I am introduced and my LO is for the new sketch is featured! This layout is of the exhibits inside the train - so cool in there! Literally cool and cool exhibits too!
And a card from the scraps!
