Three's a Party!

I have three projects to show you today. I just couldn't convince myself last night to fall asleep and since I haven't scrapped in what feels like ages I worked on a few challenges I found.
But first I want to say thank you for all of your wonderful super sweet comments - it makes my day to see all of the funny, encouraging, and congratulatory words when I read the comments! In going through the comments for my last post - I wanted to answer a few questions.
Heidi - You can tell your hubby that I don't like Twist on the Fresh Beat Band either. He is annoyingly stupid with his tangents!
Sandra - My tatoo did hurt but honestly on a scale from 1 - 10 it was 4-5. If you've given birth this is a cake walk!
Okay now on to the projects! I found some new challenge blogs on a blog hop I discovered at SPPC. So I jumped in feet first and completed three of them! If you want to hop along that blog hop start at Scrapsketch and I will start with the challenge found there as well.
I created this layout of my friend Christian and her little boy Charlie. He is a precious child - loud, funny and loves everything boy especially rockets and space. So I'll be giving the following layout to Christian on her birthday coming up. The sketch was super simple to follow and I was able to use some scraps for the strips and a few things I've gotten in RAKS along the way.
Blast Off
The next challenge is from two spots on the blog hop Peachy Keen Stamps and an all time favorite SPCC. I'll let you in on a secret - I am always surprised at these color combos and how well they turn out! This week is was Real Red, So Saffron, Bashful Blue and Old Olive. And I was tickled by how it came out - so tickled I started another project with that color combo and as soon as it is done I will post it. I also tried something new for me that I am not too confident about - stamping! I stamped the flowers with Old Olive and then used the Real Red to stamp in the larger flower. I am happy with the card but I have a long way to go with that stamping thing! So here is the card - a congrats for a friend who recently got married.
Congrats Card
And last but not least is the layout of the girls and I trip to the Sea Center. It was our last hoorah before school started and we had a good time because we went with all of our friends from MOMS Club. I used the sketch from Sketchy Thursdays but tweeked it a little (of course!). I turned it on its side and used four pics instead of the one. I can never get my story told in just one picture so I usually have to have three or more!
I Sea You

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a blessed day!

Love your Sketchy Thursdays layout. I LOVE it when the sketches are tweaked. That's what they're there for...for inspiration and interpretation. Thanks for playing along with us every week!!!

OMG I just noticed that even though I commented on your projects earlier, I didn't realize you addressed me directly in your post!! Ha ha ha ha ha!!! I stand by my opinion of Twist - he's not the brightest bulb in the chandelier but I'll take him over a bleepin' Wiggle any day! LOL!!!
