Tattoos, WooHoos, and other oo oos!

Hello everyone! Lots and lots for this post so sit back, hold on and grab a cup of joe (or whatever floats your boat!)!
First of all if you have not noticed I have a new badge or blinkie whatever they are called declaring I have been published in Scrapbook News and Review. I cannot believe it - I am over the moon to be published and as a matter of fact they asked for two of my layouts and those two layouts - Grandparents and Sweet Tart - will be in the next issue coming out September 26th. I am still picking my chin up off the floor - hold on.....
Okay I am back now for my next trick I have humongous news - I got a tatoo! I started wanting a tatoo a loooooong time ago (in my teens) but I am glad I waited! My dear sweet husband gave me the profits from a lawn mower he picked up out of the trash refurbished and sold on Craig's list. So I am now the proud wearer of this tatoo - this was done just tonite - so it is still a bit tender but there it is! One large star for my hubby and two smaller stars - one for each of my girls.

Next I wanted to tell Samantha at SPPC that for the color combo this week - Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White, Bermuda Bay, and Tempting Turquoise I found your winner! Marina from Nick Jr.'s Fresh Beat Band - the newest crack for your kids TV show! Check her out in this pic - she is all the way on the right hand side. You can find a better picture here.
I was doing some fussy cutting for the card I did for Caardvarks using that color combo when I looked up and there Marina was wearing this color combo - it was a weird moment!
Okay on to the card I made using the color combo and a sketch from Caardvarks -
And last but not least a layout about my Priscilla using a sketch from Sketchy Thursdays. She is so curious. These pictures taken at the lake Labor Day summed her curious science loving heart. She found these crab claws and was fascinated by them and got lost in her little world. Ah be still my mother heart.Thank you for stopping by and have a blessed day,

The tattoo is awesome and you are braver than I am! I want one too, but can't decide.... therefore unless I know - I won't get one yet.

p.s. I have that paper on your LO -- the blue squares with the numbers... is the other side dominos? Very cute!!!

Man, I have a lot to cover here! OK, first LOVE the tat. I've been dying for stars on my foot, too, and you are the third one to goad me on. Now just gotta get the funds!! First I'm getting a winged heart with my kids' names in/on it somewhere on my left arm...gotta balance the right arm tat!!

Yes, I agree, Fresh Beat Band is the new kiddie crack...but honestly, I don't mind them! (Although for some reason my husband absolutely despises Twist.) Great catch on the SPCC colors.

Which brings me to SPCC...beautimous card!! Thanks for playing.

And your Sketchy Thursdays layout is GORGEOUS!!! I love layouts that give us glimpses into a child's mind.
