Going Green

Week four in the Big Scrapper House at Life Preservers proved to be fatal - I was eliminated! I am so very sad - almost as if I was really in the house with my cyber scrapping buddies. I along with four other big scrappers were cut by random draw. Before I went though I completed a layout using recycled items -
(A)The glittered swirl on the left hand side are the transparency sheets that come with clear stamps. I stamped a flourish on them and then stickle dotted the flourish (have you ever heard of stickle hand cramp - I have and it hurt) - that took 9 hours to dry - no kidding! Then cut the flourish out reapplying stickles as needed.
(B) The date is on the backing from the Jenni Bowlin pearl things which are in the middle of the blue circles.
(C) And lastly the reddish long strip the circles are on is from a basket that was falling apart - I've used it before on another layout and I've got a couple pieces left so I'll be using it again!
And the layout -
Written in the Stars
And I went green again but not recycled green but old olive green in this week's SPPC color combo. The color combo was:
And my layout using these colors was a picture of my two girls and their uncle Bubba (my brother Brian) on Amory's first Easter. It is rare for him to hold them or be lovey dovey without one of us pushing it on him. However that has never stopped Amory - she climbs all over him and kisses him whenever she can. Priscilla takes more of a pestering role - they play back and forth with each other much like I did when I was little!

Thank you for stopping by and have a blessed day!
