What a title of a post, huh? But I am up to my armpits at least! One of my favorite kids in the whole wide world is turning six on Valentine's Day. I am still trying to figure out how Amory got so big! So because of that I am creating a butterfly/fairy party that even Tinkerbell would be envious of!
I am celebrating with Apron Strings, my favorite kit club in the whole wide world, who is turning seven this year. I am celebrating with a month of fun challenges on the blog along with yummy prizes.
And I am celebrating with My Sketch World , who is six this year too!I am celebrating by playing along with the Sketch A Thon - fifteen brand new sketches with super fantastic prizes!
So let me show you what I have been working on scrappy wise.
The first is the challenge for Day One at Apron Strings to use seven of something. I used seven label stickers on this two page layout. Five on the left hand side with bits of journaling on them and two on the right hand side - one under my ice cream embellishment and one behind/above the extra pictures pocket.

The next layout is a sneaky peeky at what is coming up in the February Bigger Than a Breadbox kit at Apron Strings. Day Two at Apron Strings had us using Sous Chef Tomi Ann's adorable card as inspiration. I used the February 1st sketch at the My Sketch World Sketch A Thon and created my own banner.
Off We Go ...
Last but not least this fall punkin page. This one was made using a sketch at the Paper Variety challenge blog. I completed this with Day Three at Apron Strings on my mind which was to create your own handmade embellishment. I created my own chevron stripes using a tutorial I found at My Scraps and More. Alot of work but I used all scraps and I love the color combination I created! I am also entering this at Scrapfit's Workout #61 to use a white background. Although it didn't stay clean and white long!

Great project you got there. Well that is the main purpose of photographs - to preserve memories.
