You Are (De)Lovely!

I have been using the Cosmo Cricket Delovely line I won at Let's Scrap just a bit on layouts here and there but I was so excited about the furbiture and accessories that are included in the line! I haven't had much time to scrap with the kiddos being out of school so when inspiration struck and the mojo flowed I went with it (and stayed up way too late!).

I want to show you some cards that I made and one altered item. This first one uses this paper canister I got for two dollars somewhere (the only reason I know it was two dollars is it still had the price tag on it!). I covered it with paper and used one border strip cut into indivual words around the lid. I tied the bow and place the chipboard lamp on top. The tag uses the lamp from that border strip and some more of the 6 X 6 paper pad. A little bit of pom pom trim, some ink and sentiment printed from my computer and voila. I am glad that ScrapFIT had a challenge to do a tag - I will probably make more of these because I don't have to worry about a sentiment for the outside and the inside of a card. Brilliance!  

The next three cards use the oh so clever sentiment "You are chair-ished". I did not think of it first (of course) - several stamp companies have this sentiment - although I created and printed mine off the computer. This uses more DeLovely - chipboard pieces, paper and a cut up border strip, some cardstock scraps, and some ribbon and seam binding (although it might be bias tape - I know more about scrapping then sewing).
