Rain On My Parade!

Today is our first official day of summer. Everything is going pretty well - I haven't strangled anyone and the girls haven't strangled each other. I would say we are doing remarkably well  :). We started with our walk this morning and all was going well until Amory had a tearful bout of jealousy. Priscilla and Neo were walking together and forgot about  her. This quickly escalated into an upset tummy - we had to skip petting the farm animals at the library. Amory is better now - I said I would ask that Priscilla and Neo walk with her. We came home and started in on Priscilla's to do list - she has done well - we'll see if it lasts! On to the scrappiness!
I scrapped last night got everything finished up for challenges that were due Sunday night and of course last night of all nights Blogger was down, unavailable, out of commision. In my sleep deprived end of a VERY long day I didn't think to email these to Lori head honcho extraordinaire of Apron Strings last night so I will put them on there for today just for fun!
On Wednesday Lori through out a sketch challenge - one of my top two fav challenges! And this one was perfect for Amory's pictures from the Jumpy Place. She loves that place and generally when we get done my nerves are shot. She is fearless - climbing, sliding and jumping. She always gets into one spot that is not where she is supposed to be - like scaling the fishnet side of the ceiling height slide - umm that is why there is a ladder inside of the bouncy slide so one does not have to climb up the fishnet on the side like Spidey Girl! I even put a clear acrylic frame around the bouncy house warning sign that Amory so clearly bypassed!
This layout took forever to finish - I cut out each of the letters from a sheet of pattern paper - I might not do that again!
Queen Bounce A lot

And since I am trying to make cards with the layout leftovers I made four tiny gift tags with my scraps. The rest of the paper with the letters will go in my daughters' "scrapping" stash. I don't think I want to see it again ever!
Gift Tags
The last layout is for the five on Friday challenge at Apron Strings and the Scrap and Stamp challenge - a sketch - for this week. The five for this one are 1 sheet cardstock, 2 sheets patterned paper(two sheets from Cosmo Cricket's DeLovely - isn't it lovely?!?!), 1 felt embellishment (the blue scalloped in the lollipop flower) , and 1 chipboard embellishment (the border piece). My Cinderella saying stamp is from the Humor in High Heel set from Stampin Up. These pictures are from Amory's birthday party - she has to be a girly girl when she gets that excited about opening shoes instead of toys!

Thank you for stopping by and have a blessed day!

First, totally laughing at "I never want to see them again. . " the letter paper. I would have burned the leftovers! But they produced a totally cute layout. And the second layout. . .adorable! :)
