Happy Monday to everyone! I hope your Mother's Day was full of sweetness and blessings. I had an interesting Mother's Day to say the least! Amory got food poisoning from dinner on Saturday night (not pretty), therefore Victor and I did not get any sleep, and my parents and brother came over Sunday afternoon and I made lasagne. And the lasagne was delicious although I was half asleep! Victor got me a bunch of goodies for my camera - a filter, a cleaning kit, and lens cap holder so I will not set the lens cap down somewhere and lose it! Although we did find Kami's lens cap in a strawberry field - twenty rows in - but hey we found it! I also got some scrappy mail today too - two of my prizes came in. A Cosmo Cricket set from Let's Scrap and an Ippity Chick Kit from Rona at Simply Scrapping! The Cosmo Cricket DeLovely set was a nice surprise - I was expecting their Garden Variety line so when I opened it I found DeLovely I was DeExcited! I've already started thinking of some cards and layouts with my new goodies but first I am going to get all my camera gear going!
But before all of that I want to share the newest color combo from Scrapmaster's with you! Aren't these beautiful colors? I am so thinking beach - aren't you? I found these colors in the SEI Moravia Line and scrapped some pictures from my parents European vacation.
Lovely Views
I stamped a journaling block on a scrap of paper and centered it on a bit of packaging for my mom and left it blank so she can fill in all of the lovely details! I also used a large piece of cardboard packaging for the photo mat. Waste not, want not, right? For the ribbon I drew a circle and placed the two sided sticky tape over it and just gathered as I went - no rhyme or reason! And certainly no measuring!
King & Queen of the Castle
For this layout I punched LOTS of 3/4 inch circles to create my faux scallop border. I stamped another journaling block so my mom could write in all the details of how Dad convinced her to pose for this silly picture!
thank you very much
And with all the scraps I created this card - I am saying now I plan to make cards with my scraps at the end of every layout. I am not sure how long that will last - but all I have to do is look at my scrap box and say I SO need to do this!
Thank you for stopping by and have a blessed day!

These are all gorgeous Kristin! I particularly love the ribbon circle! And the idea of a card with your left overs...you've given us 3 treats in one post! Yay you!
