Lucy has created another beautiful sketch at My Sketch World. I feel like I'll be using this one again (and again)! I turned it on its side because the photos of Amory in our Texas snow were vertical and fit better that direction.
Here is the layout ... Amory was amazed at the snow - she has had snow all but one of her winters in her life - global warming I don't think so! Priscilla chose to go to school that morning or I would have had pictures of both of them. Can you believe a ten year old turned down the opportunity to stay home from school? As Amory says "kinda weird but okay?!?!"
Its Snow Wonder I Love You This Much
A close up of the journaling - I used a bunch of scallop circles and layered them to look like a pile of snow. The chipboard snowflake is covered in glue and sprinkled with Martha Stewart glitter - a chunky white glitter and fine peridot glitter.
A close up of the title at the top and mainly because you can see Amory's little face so well! Look at that expression! And some layouts and a card! Yes a card - I am not all that good at cards but making them is growing on me so you will probably be seeing more of them! These next projects and a picture are for Apron Strings. They are wonderful kit club that has three challenges a week and to win a prize you must complete all three!
On Monday's challenge it was to scrap your Easter pics - ummm yah I am still working on Christmas - so no Easter here! I chose to make an Easter card.
The next challenge was a sketch challenge with one of those dreaded grid like sketches. Do you know it is imperative that you measure for that kind of layout - totally not my strong suit! But it is done and a fantastic way to get alot of pics from Christmas morning scrapped. This is a layout of the gifts that Victor and I got each other. Notice Victor holding up his favorite of the morning - yes he is a lover of cheerleaders- mainly the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders. And my favorite - a Snuggie! Love my snuggie!
Gifts 4 U from me
And last but not least - Apron Strings is having a My Hometown challenge. The first challenge is take a picture of your house - a beautiful day for it so I took the following picture of our casa!
