High Five!

A quick post to share a layout that I did of Priscilla's school musical "Snow Biz". These pictures weren't all that great - I never could get close enough or get anyone out of the way so I  used the best of the worst so to speak! I completed the Five on Friday challenge at Apron Strings - 1 sheet cardstock in green or brown (I chose green), 1 sheet patterned paper (music notes - rather appropriate, huh?), 1 set of chipboard (Heidi Swapp frame and Pink Paislee letters), 1 set of borders (let it snow border sticker), and 1 set of buttons (all sewed on during a one hour car ride to my Mom's for Easter).

Thank you for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Sweet layout, and honey those are some buttons! I love the kids' concerts, but I have similar photos and similar issues. I've tried to use a zoom, but the lighting isn't good enough to use with a bigger lens. And I don't want to be the parent jumping up and down in front of the front row trying to grab shots. Perfect way to deal, using the frame! I've learned to take some posed shots before or after, alone or with other classmates to combine with the "I'm gonna try again this year to get a good stage shot" photos. :)
