Card Tricks

I have been making cards - lots of cards today. On the Life Preservers Message Board our talented and dedicated Design Team has started a card brigrade. The idea is to send a card out to those who need a little pick me up - they will email us the recipient and we send them a thinking of you or whatever the occasion calls for card. I needed to build up my card stockpile so I tackled some challenges and got a few done!
The first is not for the card brigrade it is for my friend Christian's little boy who is turning two very soon - I decided he needed to have a party animal on the front of his card! I used SPPC Color Combo #15 - Really Rust, Basic Black, and Whisper White.
The second is a card using a sketch from Kristin over at Leading a Craftastic Life. This is her first card sketch she created and I think she did a craftastic job! Sorry couldn't resist!
And the third is a thinking of you card using the sketch at Caardvarks. I just found this site and really liked the sketch so I gave it a whirl and loved how it turned out!
Thank you for stopping by and have a Blessed day,

What a wonderful idea...The Card Brigade! :)

Love the first card, perfectly and entirely suitable for a young boy! Not to mention it's just fabulous!

The second card is also beautifully done. Wow, that bird really makes that card standout!

And okay, the third card? Yeah, I love it! BEAUTIFUL idea to let the fussy cut flowers fill up the card space. Brilliant! :)
