Scrapping is Cheaper Than Therapy ...

These past two weeks have been hectic. Getting Priscilla ready for 5th grade (when did she get so big?) and learning the ins and out of cool (I by the way am in the not so cool category). Priscilla and I have clothes shopped, shoe shopped, thrift store shopped (eighties jewelry is so in - who do thunk?!!?), and bag shopped. All of that prep work led to this:

It has been a whirlwind but she is now in school and Mom needed a little scrap time so I worked on the Sketchy Thursday sketch with the SPCC color combo.

Don't tell anyone but I think I am starting to enjoy making cards. I have always been quite apprehensive about the card making oohing and aahing at all the cards I see but not touching that area of papercrafting with a ten foot pole. But ever since I have been participating in the MSW ABC Crop with a card challenge every other day I have really started having fun making cards! I used the card challenge from the MSW Crop (V for Violet) and the Leading A Craftastic Life Card Challenge and made this card:
