Day Four of Spring Break Done! And what a day it was! We went to the Children's Museum and apparently we went on the same day as everyone else in the Texas Gulf Coast Region. It was chaos - not even organized chaos - just simple chaos. Way too many people to enjoy the activities. We left fairly quickly and decided to head over to the park for a picnic. Uh no - ain't happening. We sat in traffic with no way out for one hour and moved three blocks. Really? Needless to say we picniced in the car while sitting in said traffic.
And that is why I like to stay home!
I am excited to show you what I have been creating with my Apron Strings Smaller Than A Breadbox Kit for March! Full of We R Memory Keepers Cotton Tail (double-sided), Pebbles Fresh Goods (double-sided), and KaiserCraft Blae & Ivy (double-sided).
My first layout is pictures of Amory doing laundry at George Ranch - a historical park that we do love to go to when we do go somewhere. The title is in reference to Amory's mistakes in saying phrases I say. Sometimes they are too cute to correct! Since she was little Amory has thought Scrub a Dub was Scrub a Scrub. Cute, huh?
I used a sketch from ScrapFit to complete my layout - adding a picture of course and then flipping it!
Scrub A Scrub
The clothesline banner was super easy to make.
* I cut out the clothes by hand - no pattern here - I just eyeballed them.
* The two strips were stickers (in the kit) and now they are "towels".
* I glued my twine (in the kit) down on the layout after tracing a partial circle on the layout.
*I clipped the ends of the twine in tiny clothespins (in the kit).
* I pop dotted all my clothes and "towels" on the clothesline.
I have more layouts to show you but I wanted to show you a tag I made with the scraps. I was inspired by a tag I saw on Lily Bee. I filled my vellum envelope with a flutter of butterflies, punched circles, and a few flowers and leftover pearls from the kit. I used a scrap of an Elle's Studio tag - also in the kit - plus enjoy for my sentiment. I am entering this tag at the buttefly challenge on Crop Stop.
Thank you for stopping by and have a blessed day!
Lovely creation and the washing line is adorable.
